PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique which enables the miniaturization of a hinge unit used for the game machines. SOLUTION: The game machine uses a hinge unit for connecting an open/close part openably to the frame body which has a fixing part secured on the frame body and a link mechanism which is linked to the fixing part while the open/close part is connected to it. The fixing part has a support part receiving a vertical force from the link mechanism when the open/close part is opened and the support part is provided at a position that keeps it from receiving the vertical force from the link mechanism when the open/close part is closed.
