PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biological light measuring apparatus of which the inspection light output section can be miniaturized. SOLUTION: A light source module has a substrate 5, a semiconductor laser element 6, an optical fiber 7 and a lens 8. A silicone optical bench (SiOB) is used as the substrate 5. An element receiving recess 5a, a lens receiving recess 5b and an optical fiber receiving recess 5c are formed on an element mounting surface of the substrate 5. The semiconductor laser element 6 to emit the inspection light is inserted and fixed in the element receiving recess 5a. A proximal end section of the optical fiber 7 for illumination is inserted and fixed in the optical fiber receiving recess 5c. The lens 8 is inserted and fixed in the lens receiving recess 5b.
