<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein the occurrence of biased leakage flux in a magnet displaces the top of magnetic flux distribution given to a Hall element, and degrading the absolute accuracy of a rotation angle detection system. <P>SOLUTION: The rotation angle detection system has a structure, in which a leakage flux generation sectionαis placed on the right of the Z axis of a magnetic flux imparting magnet 6 and a magnetic flux attracting magnet 7. A recessed part (a magnetic flux reducing means 8) for weakening a generating magnetic flux is provided on the inner surface of the magnetic flux imparting magnet 6 and the magnetic flux attracting magnet 7 which are on the side of a Hall element 2 opposite to the side of the leakage flux generating sectionαto eliminate the deviation of magnetic flux distribution in the Z axis direction given to the Hall element 2. Only providing the recessed part can eliminate a deviation in the magnetic flux distribution and other specifications changes are not required, thereby reducing cost increase. Since deviations in the magnetic flux distribution in the Z axis direction can be eliminated, fluctuations in the magnetic flux density given to the Hall element 2 can be reduced, even if the installed position of the Hall element 2 is deviated in the Z axis direction caused by errors or the like, thereby increasing the detection accuracy. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
