PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem: when spatial information of a subject in the external world is acquired from an image photographed by manual operation using a video camera or the like and restored, each focus distance changes, so that a conventional factorization method is unavailable and the changing focus distance needs to be simultaneously restored to adjust focus. SOLUTION: The lens distortion estimation apparatus comprises: a feature point observation part 42 for observing an image coordinate value showing an amount of time change of each image in an image coordinate system set time-series image of the subject acquired with a camera means; a factorization processing part 43 for creating the matrix data from the image coordinate value to restore a camera viewpoint motion of the camera means and a three-dimensional form of the subject; and a parameter estimation part 44 for acquiring a re-projection coordinate value from a restored camera viewpoint motion and three-dimensional form to estimate a lens distortion parameter of the camera means from the re-projection coordinate value and observed image coordinate value.
