<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet folding device adaptable to various kinds of folding modes, for example, a folding mode of folding a sheet to the length of 1/3 or 1/4 of the original length without increasing the size of the device, and an image forming device having the same. <P>SOLUTION: The sheet folding device has a Z-shaped fold processing unit 400 to perform the Z-shaped fold processing of a sheet, and a double-shape folding unit 500 capable of further folding the Z-shape folded sheet by the Z-shaped fold processing unit 400, and is capable of selecting the folding mode to use either the Z-shaped fold processing unit 400 or the double-shape folding unit 500, and the folding mode to use both the Z-shaped fold processing unit 400 and the double folding unit 500. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
