METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR MIGRATION OF APPLICATION AMONG HETEROGENEOUS DEVICES

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the migration of an application among heterogeneous devices. SOLUTION: The application comprises sets of one or more components. The application running on a source device 2 and the hardware configuration of a target device 3 are examined to port the application to the target device 3 by selecting at least one component from each set that fits to run on the target device 3. The running state of the application that exists on the source device 2 is captured and sent to the target device 3.
