PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus that is improved in portability, and to provide a lens barrel and a circuit board used therefor. SOLUTION: A CCD 61 and an IC component 65 are mounted on an FPC 22. The FPC 22 is folded nearly at right angles between the CCD 61 and the IC component 65 with a mounting surface 22a, on which the CCD 61 is mounted in the inside. A housing part 60 in which the CCD 61 is housed is formed at the rear end of a lower lens barrel 32 in an optical axis direction. Furthermore, a housing part 32a, in which the IC component 65 is housed, is formed on the front of the lower lens barrel 32. When the FPC 22 is attached to the lower lens barrel 32, the CCD 61 is housed in the housing part 60, and the IC component 65 is housed in the housing part 32a.
