PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio transmission system which can transmit optimum power by radio, according to the use situation of a device, a data transmitter, and a data receiver, in a radio transmission system which is equipped with a data transmitter for transmitting data such as sound, images, etc. and a data receiver. SOLUTION: This data transmitter is so constituted as to decide the quantity of power that the controller 15 should transmit by radio, according to the detection results of a melody intermission detector 14 and the measurement results of a distance measuring part 16, being equipped with the melody interval detector 14 which detects the melody intermission of a music CD and the distance measuring part 16 which measures the distance between an audio device being the data transmitter and a headphone being the data receiver, whereby this can perform power transmission which is optimum for the use situation of a device.
