PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a redundant reception processor and a redundant reception processing method having good data transmission quality in which instantaneous interruption of communication is not caused at the time of selecting an antenna having good transmission quality and the transmission delay of data is reduced. SOLUTION: Reception processing parts are formed so as to respectively correspond to a plurality of antennas to constitute a plurality of receiving systems each of which comprises an antenna and a reception processing part, and a data signal is received by respective receiving systems to continuously obtain demodulation data. Successively from the demodulation data arriving earliest from each receiving system at a received data reproducing part, a CRC value which is transmission quality information is examined in real time, and when the CRC value satisfies a condition, the received data are reproduced and outputted on the basis of the examined demodulation data.
