PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk device which allows a main part key to be operated simply when a user loses a remote controller or the remote control fails and the remote control key is substituted by the main part key, and moreover can realize each function of the remote controller without increase of cost. SOLUTION: When depression of a PLAY key, for example of a main part operation section is continued, a count value of a counter is incremented each second, for example of depression time. A key fixing means extracts a key code corresponding to the count value from a table and a function of the remote control key which this key code indicates is fixed to the PLAY key of the main part operation section. The key name display means extracts a name of a remote control key corresponding to the count value from the table and display it in the display means. When the remote control key is substituted for the main part key, each function of the remote control key can be fixed by only continued depression of selected main part key.
