PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display apparatus with which both the cost and correction deviations are reduced. SOLUTION: The image display apparatus has a plurality of display elements, members to be arranged separated by a distance of the several display elements and a drive circuit. The drive circuit has an adjusting circuit and a correction circuit which outputs corrected drive signals. The correction circuit has a correction value computing circuit which computes the correction value, to compensate for the amount reduced by the members for the amount of emitted light of a prescribed light-emitting region by inputted image data among the amount of changes made by the driving of the display elements having light-emitting regions other than the prescribed light-emitting region. The data to be corrected by the correction circuit are the image data, having a time difference of the prescribed time for the image data inputted to compute the correction value. The adjustment circuit is the circuit to conduct adjustment so that the corrected drive signals become the signals that are adjusted, according to the change in the image that should be displayed.
