PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means which enables the operation of replacing a valve part to be easily and rapidly performed, when a malfunction occurs in the valve part of a existing distributing pipe such as a fire-fighting distributing pipe. SOLUTION: A kit for replacing the valve part comprises: a check valve 2 for replacement, where female screws 24a and 24b are provided in water passing ports 2a and 2b on both sides; a pair of connecting pipe bodies 6 and 6 where a male screw 6a is provided only on the side of one end; a pair of piping couplers 7 and 7 where an annular rubber sleeve 71 is arranged inside an open loop-shaped casing 70 composed of a strip-shaped metal plate with a fastening bolt 72 attached between both ends; a half-split type heat insulating material 8 which is composed of an expanded synthetic resin molding for enveloping the whole of these connecting parts; and a buckle 90 for fixing the heat insulating material 8 in an enveloping manner. The kit for replacing the valve part makes the piping coupler 7 is straddle-fitted into a part where the other end side of each connecting pipe body 6 screwed and connected to the check valve 2 butts against a cut end formed by cutting and removing the previous valve part of an existing horizontal pipe part 10a; and an open-loop diameter is reduced by tightly fastening the fastening bolt 72, so that the new valve part can be connected to the horizontal pipe part 10a in a communicating manner, enveloped in the heat insulating material 8 and fixed by the buckle 90.
