PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shelf board device preventing rattling even if an upward force is applied thereto and being displaceable in the left/right direction. SOLUTION: This shelf board device is so formed that a front face of a vertical structure 2 is provided with an engagement groove 9 facing in the left/right direction and having an opening width narrower than that of an inner part, an upward engagement piece projecting at the rear end of an upper piece facing the rear part in a lateral bar 4 is made to abut on and engaged with the back face of a locking piece 7 in the engagement groove 9, the engagement groove 9 is fitted with backward pieces 10 projecting at the upper part of the rear end of a pair of left/right brackets 5 facing in the front/rear direction, both of the brackets 5 are connected to both side end parts of the lateral bar 4, and a shelf board 6 is mounted on shelf board support parts provided at the opposite faces of both brackets 5.
