<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light interference tomographic apparatus for teeth, capable of easily detecting a minute lesion. <P>SOLUTION: The light interference tomographic apparatus comprises a variable wavelength light generator 11, a second coupler 13 for splitting light from the variable wavelength light generator 11 into measuring light and reference light, a probe 30, etc. for applying the measuring light from the second coupler to a tooth 100 in the oral cavity and capturing a signal light reflected from the tooth 100, a third coupler 16 for coupling the signal light and reference light, and an arithmetic operation control device 21, etc. for controlling the variable wavelength light generator 11 so that the light from the variable wavelength light generator 11 is the target range of wavelength and finding the characteristics of the tooth 100 based on the range of wavelength of the light generated from the variable wavelength light generator 11 and the intensity of the signal light.
