<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve inconvenience, when continuously reproducing video data encoded with various encoding systems from a recording medium in which the video data are mixed. <P>SOLUTION: The video reproducing device has a reproducing means 102, which reproduces first video data encoded by a first encoding system and second video data encoded by a second encoding system from the recording medium, a decoding means 106 for decoding the second video data, an encoding means 107 for encoding the video data decoded by the decoding means 106, an output means 109 for outputting the first video data and the second video data encoded by the encoding means 107 to the outside, and a delay means 105 for delaying the first video data reproduced by the reproducing means 102 for a prescribed period of time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
