<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a watch that can improve the attaching/detaching operability of a crown, has a constitution of holding the crown in a non-operation state not to be carelessly rotated, and has high durability. <P>SOLUTION: The crown energized in a separating direction from a body by a coil spring (energizing body) built in a crown cylinder section 33 of a pipe of a winding stem pipe 20 is removably disposed in an outward projection section 20a of the winding stem pipe 20 mounted on a body. The outer periphery of the projection section 20a is provided with a plurality of communication grooves 22 disposed in the rotation direction of the crown, a plurality of through grooves 23 for attachment and detachment that communicate with the communication grooves and are released at an end face of the projection section 20a, and a plurality of holding grooves 24 that are formed in a state where they communicate with the communication grooves 22 to come to a dead end, and are adjacent to the through grooves 23.
