PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor direct drive system with a generator, which is advantageous in terms of cost, along with a vehicle equipped with it, in which the capacity of generator and that of a storage battery are suppressed to small, resulting in a reduced occupied space, with a control device such as a driver and inverter being eliminated. SOLUTION: A motor direct drive system 1 by a generator 2 comprises an engine 6 which acts as an internal combustion engine; a DC generator 2 which converts the power output from the engine 6 into a DC current; an AC motor 4 which is driven by the DC current supplied directly from the DC generator 2; and a controller 5 which is a control means to perform field control of the generator 2 and the motor 4 according to increase/decrease of output rotational speed of the engine 6.
