PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiantenna transmitter capable of attaining both a data transmission speed and transmission quality by comparatively simple selection procedures. SOLUTION: When a vector multiplexing part 105 transmits a transmission signal requested for quality higher than the other signals, the vector multiplexing part 105 reduces the number transmission beams (that is, reduce the number of inherent paths to be used for transmission), uses an inherent vector belonging a large eigen value preferentially, performs vector multiplexing of the transmission signal and forms a transmission beams (that is, transmits a signal requested for high quality preferentially by an inherent path with a large path gain).
