PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal protector and a protector preventing interruption caused by a current during starting and a current during a short-time overload operation. SOLUTION: The thermal protector comprises a fixed piece 23 with a fixed contact 22; a movable piece 25 with a movable contact 24 paired with the fixed contact 22; and a mechanism making the movable contact 24 separate from and contact with the fixed contact 22.
