PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrodeposition coating method for forming a coating film 31 precisely only on a part (α<SB>8</SB>) to be coated, which has been prepared on one part of the surface of a hub body 13a, without using a masking tape. SOLUTION: This electrodeposition coating method comprises the steps of: elastically pushing the upper end surface of a masking cover 32 which is made of rubber and has a cylindrical shape with a bottom, to an outer end surface of a cylindrical body 16 composing the hub body 13a, thereby to make a boundary between the part (α<SB>8</SB>) and a part adjacent to the part (α<SB>8</SB>) into a liquid-tight and partitioned state; and in the state, electrodeposition coating particles on the part (α<SB>8</SB>), while contacting a coating liquid 28 discharged from a supplying pipe 29 with the part (α<SB>8</SB>).
