PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a die changing device which can shorten the time necessary for the die changing work in a vertical spinning machine and can secure the safety. SOLUTION: A driving member is provided on a part of the body of the vertical spinning machine so as to turn and move in the direction parallel to the main spindle of the spinning machine. The driving member is provided with two stage or one stage swing arms and a die receiving rest fixed to the end portion of the swing arms, and carries the die to and from the main spindle of the spinning machine. The driving member may be a hydraulic or pneumatic cylinder which can turn and slide by being fitted on a piston rod or may be a ball screw and a mating ball nut case. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
