The housing has a rotor chamber (15) surrounded by a housing sleeve (17) and an exhaust gas collecting pipe (3) connected on one side. The housing part of the turbo charger, the exhaust gas collecting pipe as well as the cylinder head (20) are all cast in one piece. - One part of the housing can have a bypass valve chamber (10). Independent claim describes method for making housing by using sand core parts, inserting liquid metal and after solidifying removing the core parts. |
