A system for administering flowable products, has a product storage container (5), supply means (7) for feeding the product from the container and into a feeding channel (9) and for applying a feeding pressure to the product and a product dispensing head (4) to which the product is supplied. An uninterrupted flow of the pressurized product to the inlet (20) of the dispensing head is provided, and a product metering chamber is provided in the actual dispensing head (4), having a predetermined fixed maximum volume corresponding to that of a product portion to be dispensed and being displaceable as a shuttle between a loading position and a dispensing position wherein the metering chamber is collapsed for dispensing the fixed product volume.
