FIELD: material working by cutting, finishing cutters. ^ SUBSTANCE: cutter includes holder with upper and lower metallic layers. Holder supports cutting tip and unit for mounting said tip. Cutter also includes angle brace mounted in grooves on inner surfaces of upper and lower metallic layers of holder; composition material arranged in cavity between angle brace and upper and lower metallic layers. In order to improve rigidity and heat resistance, angle brace is in the form of members of truss arranged along the whole length of holder by different angles one to other and to upper and lower metallic layers. Cavity near head of cutter is filled with heat resistant composition material. ^ EFFECT: increased rigidity and heat resistance of cutter. ^ 2 dwg |
