FIELD: copy protection technologies. ^ SUBSTANCE: method for copy protection of optical disks includes manufacturing a master disk for encoding data and authentication signature and recording encoded data and encoded authentication signature onto master disk, from which optical disk is formed. Data structures for authentication signature are selected in a way to create DSV problems for disk recording devices with possible recording.
