<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suitably distribute both a live stream and a stored stream, in response to requests, by controlling buffers for distribution of, particularly, the live stream and the stored stream. <P>SOLUTION: A live stream distribution means, a stored stream distribution means, and a stored stream observation means for observing a distribution condition of the stored stream are provided, and buffer resources for the live stream are used for the stored stream to distribute the live stream and the stored stream in the case that worsening of the distribution condition is found by the stored stream observation means. The stored stream distribution means for distributing the stream for storing, the stored stream observation means for the distribution condition of the stream for storing, and a switching means for switching a method of buffering to a memory used by the stored stream are provided, and the method of buffering is switched when the distribution condition of the stored stream is worsened. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
