<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat pump water heater of high operation efficiency by preventing generation of mold and moss on an air heat exchanger. <P>SOLUTION: This heat pump water heater comprises a refrigerant circuit 5 constituted by successively connecting a compressor 1, a radiator 2, a pressure reducing device 3 and the air heat exchanger 4, and an air blower 15 for sending the air to the air heat exchanger 4, and the air blower 15 is operated for a prescribed time after the operation of the compressor 1 is stopped, thus the air heat exchanger 4 can be dried by operating the air blower 15 for the prescribed time, as a result, the generation of mold and moss on the air heat exchanger 4 can be prevented, and the heat pump water heater of high operation efficiency can be provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
