METHOD FOR CULTURING CELL WITH CONTROLLED EXTENDING DIRECTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for culturing cells with a controlled extending direction and to provide a cell culture plate in relation to cell culture for a bioassay method and therapy carried out by using the cell culture when effects of a drug, etc., are judged or toxicity thereof is tested.

SOLUTION: The cell culture plate comprises a plurality of sidewalls 1 and a plurality of spatial structures 3 formed with the sidewalls 1 for arranging cultured cells. An opening 2 is provided in each of the sidewalls 1 to thereby have a structure in which the plurality of spatial structures 3 communicate with each other. The method for culturing the cells with the controlled extending direction is provided by using the cell culture plate.
