PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for an electroconductive material, capable of forming an electroconductive layer excellent in carrier-transporting capacity. SOLUTION: This composition for the electroconductive material contains a compound expressed by general formula (1) [wherein, R1is a 2-8C straight chain alkyl; R2is H, methyl or ethyl; X is a glycidyloxyalkyl; and Y is a group containing at least one of a substituted or non-substituted heterocyclic ring].
