The invention relates to a fishing rod float in which one half-section ( 1 ) is stacked on top of another half-section ( 2 ). In this way, a longitudinal through hole is formed in the float for the fishing line, through the joining of two grooves ( 3, 4 ). In addition, a rod is inserted into the aforementioned hole in order to clamp the line and fix same.
