Instrument has tool operated using pressurized gas and receptacle (7) for a pressure gas cartridge (8) and pressure-tight connection to connect cartridge to tool. The receptacle can be moved in its connecting position in which a pressure gas cartridge can be pressed against a needle-shaped tube support (17) with flow channel (18) located on the instrument. This support punctures and opens the pressure gas cartridge and connects the interior of the gas cartridge with a conduit (20) leading to the tool.
