A sample injector, a sample injecting method and liquid chromatography equipment which control the flow of a moving phase using a selector valve. The sample injector comprises a port connected with a separation column, a pump for feeding a moving phase, a pair of sample injection needles, a syringe, and a valve for connecting one sample injection needle with any one of the pump and the syringe selectively and using the other sample injection needle as a pump. When one sample injection needle is fixed to the port by operating the valve, that sample injection needle is connected with the pump. When the other sample injection needle is fixed to the port, one sample injection needle is connected with the syringe and the other sample injection needle is connected with the pump.
