<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disc brake capable of improving air bleeding characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: This disc brake comprises a pair of pads, a caliper for bringing the pair of pads into contact with a disc by sliding of a piston in a state that the piston is slidably fitted to a cylinder 18, a cam mechanism for changing the projection of a cam rod, a push rod 45 mounted in the cylinder, and pressed and moved by the cam rod of the cam mechanism, and a clutch member mounted in the cylinder 18, screwed to one end side of the push rod 45, kept into contact with the piston, and forcibly sliding the piston to the cylinder 18. Further this disc brake has a projecting portion 120 formed on the push rod 45 and projecting to a radial outer side, and an axial groove 121 formed on an inner peripheral face of the cylinder 18 and slidably kept into contact with the projecting portion 120, and a clearance is formed between an apex of the projecting portion 120 and a bottom portion of the axial groove 121. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
