<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular wheel motor capable of generating two forces of thrust direction axial force for friction braking and rotary torque for vehicle drive, brake regeneration and reverse drive by two independent motors built in a motor casing. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicular wheel motor with friction brake has two motors 3, 4 arranged in the motor casing 1, independently controlling the same, and having rotors of the two motors connected by a rotary-linear motion conversion mechanism 13. The rotor of one of the motors can axially move by the rotary-liner motion conversion mechanism 13 put between another motor, moves a brake disk pressing body connected to the rotor in the axial direction by movement of the rotor in the axial direction, and pressing friction material provided on the brake disk pressing body 4e against a brake disk 6e to perform brake operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
