摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the detection accuracy and detection frequency of the rate of battery charge. <P>SOLUTION: This controller executes decelerating regenerative power generation to generate power with a generator at decelerative operation, and executes compulsive power generation to generate power with a generator when a battery charge rate estimate SOC falls under a specified value. Then, it detects the battery charge rates SOCs, based on the generated voltage of the generator and the charge current of a battery at decelerating regenerative power generation or at start of battery charge by compulsive power generation. This way, it detects the battery charge rates SOCs at start of battery charge, in short, when it is switched into charge after a measure of continuation of battery charge, whereby it detects the battery charge rates SOCs each time in condition that the charge/discharge histories immediately before are roughly the same thereby improving the detection accuracy of the battery charge rates SOCs, and also it detects the battery charge rates SOCs each time it starts the charge of the battery thereby increasing the detection frequency of the battery charge rates SOCs. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p>
