<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor control unit which improves energy efficiency and a vehicle equipped with the unit. <P>SOLUTION: The control unit 30 computes the range covered by the number of revolutions Ng of a motor generator MG1, which is obtained from the number of revolutions Nm of a motor generator MG2. Subsequently, the control unit 30 searches a voltage required for an inverter 14 from a map using a demanded torque Td required for starting an engine 200 and the range covered by the number of revolutions Ng of the motor generator MG1. The control unit 30 makes a boosting unit 20 perform boost control regarding the required voltage obtained by searching as a target value, and controls the inverter 14 so that the motor generator MG1 is made to output torque, thereby rotating an output shaft of the engine. It is thus possible to realize smooth cranking of the engine while improving the energy efficiency as well as preventing excessive rise in pressure rise without causing lack of torque. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
