摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the load on a measuring subject by quickly detecting non-rigid movement, such as rapid winking of an eye and fingers after photographing, and sending a message to the user, before calculating a three-dimensional shape. <P>SOLUTION: A method for detecting the movement of a measuring object in a three-dimensional measuring device comprises finding a sum of absolute values of differences of absolute values of edge intensity of each image in a certain image region, after applying a differential filter on a plurality of images, finding a value divided by the edge intensity of one image of the plurality of the images in the image region, and determines that the measuring object moves in the image region, when the value exceeds a prescribed threshold. The method informs a measuring object person of the movement, when the fingers moves during measuring. The method detects the movement of the measuring object person in a short time with a simple calculation.
