PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a vibration damper capable of improving durability and effectively producing a two-stage stopper characteristic. SOLUTION: In this vibration damper, an inner cylindrical metal fitting 1 is coupled to an outer cylindrical metal fitting 2 by an elastic rubber body 3, and hollow parts 4, 5 sandwiching the inner cylindrical metal fitting 1 and opposing to each other are provided in the elastic rubber body 3. Projecting parts 6, 7 projecting inwardly from the inner periphery of the outer cylindrical metal fitting 2 and serving as stoppers for vibration displacement in the inner cylindrical metal fitting 1 side are provided in the hollow parts 4, 5. In each of the projecting parts 6, 7, four small axial hollows 8, 9 are provided in close vicinity to the inner periphery of the outer cylindrical metal fitting 2 such that two of the four small hollows 8, 9 are respectively arranged in both side regions with each center C in circumferential width at the intermediate point. An interval between the two small hollows in each of the both side regions is set narrower than an interval between the two adjacent small hollows in each center part sandwiching each of the centers C, and larger than half of the interval between the two adjacent small hollows in the each center part.
