PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent increase in temperature around the recording media even if a fan having a small outer diameter is used in a recording-and-reproducing device provided with a plurality of recording media. SOLUTION: The recording-and-reproducing device is provided with; a housing; a plurality of recording-and-reproducing means; a first duct whose one end opens at the surface of the housing; a second duct which is connected to the other end of the first duct and has an inclination part inclined to the first duct; a third duct whose one end is connected to the second duct and whose other end opens at the surface of the housing; and a fan which is fixed to one end of the first duct and generates an air current in the inner part of the second duct. The plurality of recording-and-reproducing means are separated from each other and are arranged in alignment in the inner part of the second duct so that the recording media may be nearly parallel to the inclination part.
