PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to accept an offer of information for selecting an optical disk suitable for a disk apparatus out of various optical disks by a user and to allow a manufacturer to accept an offer of information of the number of recordable times of the optical disk so as to reflect to development and improvement of a disk apparatus. SOLUTION: Information data are overwritten and recorded in an optical disk, when recording of the information data for the optical disk is finished, 1 is added to the number of times of recording recorded in a RAm of the optical disk and updated, MID recorded in the RMA of the optical disk is read out, read out MID of the optical disk and the updated number of times of recording are transmitted, disk information about the number of recordable times of the optical disk for each MID is received.
