PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floor mat for an automobile, simplifying the constitution, facilitating fitting of a locking means, easily confirming the fitting state of the floor mat, preventing an unexpected accident due to the movement of the floor mat, and urging the above confirmation at the time of going on board to aim at the safety and rationality of going on board. SOLUTION: This floor mat 6 is provided to be superposed on a vehicle carpet 5. A through hole 27 is formed in the floor mat 6. In the floor mat for an automobile, the locking means 11 engaged with the through hole 27 is disposed in a fixed position. The locking means 1 is projected on the vehicle carpet 5.
