PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning apparatus for a printing cylinder capable of decreasing the number of cleaning and time of cleaning for the printing cylinder, and decreasing the amount of consumption of a cleaning liquid. SOLUTION: Both end parts and the other part of a brush are respectively connected with liquid feeding pipelines of separate systems, and respective pipelines are provided with respectively two electromagnetic valves 5, 6, 7 and 8. The electromagnetic valves of one side of respective pipelines are connected with a cleaning liquid feeding system 9 comprising water or a hydrophilic cleaning agent as a main component, and the electromagnetic valves of the other side are connected with a cleaning liquid feeding system 10 comprising an oleophilic solvent or an oleophilic cleaning agent as a main component. The cleaning liquids jetted on parts of a roll brush corresponding to both ends of the printing cylinder and on the other part are arbitrarily selected, and at the same time, they are jetted respectively at arbitrary jetting times to shorten the jetting time for the oleophilic cleaning agent on both end parts, and at the central part, the jetting the hydrophilic cleaning liquid is shortened to comprehensively decrease the amount of jetting of the cleaning liquids.
