A mobile wireless unit capable of reducing the correlation factor between antennas and ensuring a high-rate, large-capacity communication for various statuses in which the user uses the mobile wireless unit. The mobile wireless unit (10) has first and second antenna elements (12,13). The first antenna element (12), the element length of which is slightly shorter than a half-wavelength by 0.05 wavelength, and the second antenna element (13), the element length of which is slightly longer than the half-wavelength by 0.05 wavelength, are disposed such that they extend from the top end of a case wall opposed to a display part (37) of a case (11) and they are parallel with each other with a predetermined spacing therebetween in the direction of the case width. The first antenna element (12) is connected to a first duplexer (23), while the second antenna element (13) is connected to a second duplexer (24). The first antenna element (12) and a first radio circuit part (38) connected thereto serve as a first communication system, while the second antenna element (13) and a second radio circuit part (39) connected thereto serve as a second communication system. The first and second communication systems operate as wireless communication systems having a low spatial correlation therebetween.
