<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumption in a mobile radio communication system comprising base stations and a mobile station, and radio communication apparatuses constituting the base stations and the mobile station. <P>SOLUTION: The mobile radio communication system and radio communication apparatuses comprise at least a movable radio communication apparatus among a plurality of radio communication apparatuses; multiplex channels comprising at least a traffic channel for transmitting packets, a control channel for transmitting control information for packet receiving, and a channel for transmitting information comprising transmission power control information; and perform radio communication between one radio communication apparatus such as a base station and the other radio communication apparatus such as a mobile station. The system and the apparatuses include a means which transmits the transmission power control information by the channel for transmitting the information comprising the transmission power control information in a constant period longer than the length of a packet from the one radio communication apparatus to the other radio communication apparatus, and transmits the transmission power control information by the control channel when the packet is transmitted by the traffic channel. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
