<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electroluminescence drive display device with reduced power consumption, capable of securing visibility, even when it is used as an outdoor mobile display, and to provide its manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: In an electroluminescent light-emitting part, consisting of a plurality of light-emitting layers 104, 106, 108 pinched between both electrodes of a cathode 101 and an anode 111, transport layers 105, 107, 109 are installed at upper parts of respective light-emitting layers, and gate electrodes 112, 113, 114 are formed in the respective transport layers. Furthermore, three or more layers of the light-emitting layers are preferably provided, where each light-emitting layer is doped with a luminescent organic material so that the value of the energy band gap of the luminescent organic material, in each light-emitting layer, becomes larger sequentially starting from the cathode 101 side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
