PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-wavelength batch generating apparatus generating more WDM signals and broadening the bandwidth of output light spectrum with respect to the apparatus of generating multi-wavelength light having a plurality of center wavelengths in the lump from light having a single center wavelength, regarding the technical field of communication. SOLUTION: Laser light emitting elements 16<SB>1</SB>, 16<SB>2</SB>, 16<SB>3</SB>, 16<SB>4</SB>, ..., 16<SB>2n-1</SB>, 16<SB>2n</SB>respectively emit light with a single center wavelength, and the respective center wavelengths are different from one another and stand with an equal interval in the order of the number of subscript on the frequency axis. An optical multiplexer 1600 multiplexes light emitted by the laser light emitting element of the odd number. An optical multiplexer 1610 multiplexes light emitted by the laser light emitting element of the even number independent of the optical multiplexer 1600. The optical multiplexers 1600, 1610 are also made to be optical couplers. Light source light rays from lasers of 2n pieces (n is natural number of one or more) which generate the light having single wavelength light different from one another are bi-sected, perform treatment of two systems and multiplex respective treatment results, thereby obtaining final multiple output.
