<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect the privacy of a bidder, to prevent huddling and to protect the profit of a client. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic bidding method for executing auction through an electronic communication line has: a bidding step s5 for ciphering selected bidding amount information and transmitting it to an auction organizer device from a bidder device; a recognizing step s6 for transmitting bidding amount information by which all bidder devices are ciphered, thereafter designating an amount from the highest or lowest bidding amount that can be selected, recognizing whether the bidder device executes bidding at the designated amount or not from the auction organizer device and sequentially putting up or down the designated amount until bidding at the designated amount is recognized from any bidder device; and a successful bid deciding step s6 for succeeding bidding from the bidder device when bidding is recognized at the designated amount in the recognizing step.
