PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor capable of holding simply and securely a brush holder between a yoke and a cover, and of securely preventing the generation of abnormal sound and abnormal friction of a brush. SOLUTION: A motor has an armature shaft 16 that is rotatably supported by a bearing 14 of the bottom section a yoke 11 and a bearing 15 of ceiling section of a cover 12, an armature 20 and a commutator 21 that are mounted on the armature shaft, and a brush holder 22 that is fitted into a cylinder section 12d of the cover 12, a brush 23 housed in the brush holder 22 freely to appear or disappear therefrom or therein is pressure welded to the commutator 21. A boss section 11f is provided on the inner circumferenctial surface 11d of a cylinder section 11c of the yoke 11, there is provided a latched protrusion section 22f latched on an outer circumferential surface 22e of the brush holder 22, and a notch section 12e to house latched protrusion section 22f is provided on cylinder section 12d of the cover 12.
