PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interpolation circuit and a function circuit which can execute high-speed processing. SOLUTION: The interpolation circuit 1 is provided with basic circuits 10a and 10b, a superposing circuit 20, an inputting terminal 30 and an outputting terminal 40. The output of the basic circuit 10a linearly changes from g(x<SB>1</SB>) (a first output value) to g<SB>0x</SB>(a reference value) when an input variable x changes from x<SB>1</SB>(a first input value) to x<SB>2</SB>(a second input value). The output of the basic circuit 10b linearly changes from g<SB>0x</SB>to g(x<SB>2</SB>)(a second output value) when the input variable x changes from x<SB>1</SB>to x<SB>2</SB>.
