PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply acquire an address of a faulty part on a screen of a liquid crystal panel. SOLUTION: One chip IC 10 includes a video processor 11 to which an analog data signal is inputted, a panel processor 14, an OSD circuit 15, a CPU 16, and a timing controller 17 for controlling a source driver 22 and a gate driver 23 of the liquid crystal panel 21, and is provided with a memory part 18 in which one test pattern data consisting of one font data of X horizontal dots and Y vertical dots in order to inspect the position of a bright spot, a dark spot, a bright line, or dark lines on the screen of the liquid crystal panel 21, and at the time of an inspection process, the CPU 16 acquires the inspection pattern data from the memory part 18, and makes the OSD circuit 15 create the inspection pattern for displaying it on an arbitrary position on the screen of the liquid crystal panel 21 and also display the address values of the origin of the display position for the inspection pattern together.
